What services are offered and what payment options are available?
Services include evaluation of mental health disorders, such as anxiety and depressive disorders, personality disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, attention disorders, insomnia, and eating disorders for adolescents, women, and men, age 16 and up, and management with lifestyle, counseling, and/or medication treatments. Specialized services include perinatal, reproductive, and integrative mental health care and lactation and breastfeeding support. Payment options include many insurances, out of network self pay rates, and reduced/no cost options.
What does perinatal, reproductive, and integrative mental health refer to?
Perinatal mental health refers to exacerbation or new onset of mental health disorders during a period of time surrounding childbearing age, preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, post loss, the baby’s first year, and beyond at times. Reproductive and integrative mental health refers to evaluation of mental health across the reproductive lifespan from premenstrual symptoms, through challenging fertility journeys, pregnancy, postpartum, and into perimenopause. Management involves looking at biological, psychological, and lifestyle causes and promoting physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, occupational, financial, and environmental wellness.
Who can refer or request an appointment?
A referral or appointment request can be made by a provider or patient by completing the appointment request form link on our website or by faxing our referral form. Referrals, requests, and records, are reviewed and the patient will be contacted to set up an initial intake in a timely manner.
What should a new patient expect during the intake process?
The first appointment can be in office or online via tele-health and will include a detailed history, screenings, evaluation, assessment, and additional work up, such as labs, when appropriate followed by a personalized treatment plan including the entire support system and care team.
What should an established patient expect during continued care?
Close follow up, ongoing revaluation, support, management, and personalized care developed by the patient and provider together while building a trusting relationship. We recommend continuing to follow with your primary care provider, OBGYN, and any other specialists you see and we will collaborate with them closely.
